I finally used my MAC gift card to get the Warm Eyes palette from their Passions of Red holiday collection.
without flashSmokey Eye palette instead. Funny how you go in with a particular item in mind, and then you end up leaving with something completely different and unexpected (like a brush set).
I also went to Sephora to use a gift card I had. I played around with the Smashbox Camera Ready Foundation but it didn't work too well for me (different people = different needs). So I gave in and bought the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment, the splurge of lip balms since it's just less than $25 when you include tax.
It felt so delicious on my mouth though! Very smooth, and it had a light citrus scent. Yummy. The packaging is uber cute and nicely made.
But the next day...my lips felt slightly raw. I wanted them to feel super smooth and soft...not raw. Sugar is a natural exfoliant so it appears my lips felt the exfoliating effect of it. Damn it.
So...I took it back and fell in love. If not love, then at least, I'm smitten...with this NARS The Multiple Duo in Orgasm/South Beach. ♥
I tried both The Multiple Duo and the Blush/Bronzer Duo in Orgasm/Laguna. Gosh, it was so hard to pick just one (and I was only going to get one). The Multiple Duo looked more natural, while the Blush/Bronzer colors showed up more. In the end, I went with The Multiple Duo because it was just so creamy and easy to blend, it went over my cheek in a very smooth and fresh way. the Blush/Bronzer didn't blend as well and is super pigmented on my skin, so it'd have to be applied with a very light and careful touch or else my cheeks would be bright orange.
Now though, I'm thinking of getting the Blush/Bronzer to pair it with The Multiple Set for a longer lasting and more noticeable look. Hmmm....I also want another The Multiple Duo in Copacabana/St. Barts. Oh NARS...look what you've done to me. *le sigh* ♥
This could very well be the start of a new and expensive love affair. ♥
