DHC Goodies

I'd been eying the Q10 Cream Foundation and I really wanted to go in and get color matched.

Q10 Cream Foundation

Creamy fuller coverage. Achieve perfect-looking skin at last! This long-lasting SPF 18 foundation offers fuller coverage to smooth over pores, blemishes, and imperfections. Enriched with age-defying coenzyme Q10, hydrating olive oil, and UV damage–fighting olive leaf extract, these ingredients can help you win the fight against fine lines. Feels silky, not heavy, on skin. Elegant matte finish.

I'm glad I did because I would not have picked the color I left with, which was Pink Ocher 03. Natural Ocher 03 was a close match, but somehow Pink Ocher looked brighter on me. (However, if you order through the website, you have 60 days to get a refund/exchange.) The consistency is thick, and takes a bit of getting used to when applying and blending, but the result is a nice, matte and natural look.

I also picked up a box of the Make Off Sheet.

Make Off Sheet

A clean sweep. Make Off Sheet does it all. Made from 100% natural cotton, each aloe-infused sheet removes impurities, helps maintain skin’s natural pH level, and deposits moisture. Use this cleansing cloth when you’re away from home and on those occasions when you can’t perform your regular routine. Comes in a lightweight, flip-top box, so you can take it on the road and to the gym.

Of the two purchases, I would say the more useful is the Make Off Sheet. At first, I wasn't too impressed, even though they contain a generous amount of serum and you get 50 sheets for just $5.50 ($7.50 if you want the container), but I've come to rely on them whenever I'm too tired and don't have the energy to wash my face (it happens). It is gentle, does not sting my face and also doesn't dry my skin. For the price and amount, they're basically 11 cents per sheet, which does not make me feel wasteful or overindulgent when I use them. =)

The sales lady was also kind enough to give me a couple of samples...I'm sure one of these days, I'll get around to trying them. =).

Happy weekend, everyone!

  1. I really want to try using the DHC line. eg.Soap, toner, moisturizer, etc. But it's too pricey right now. So I live off their samples! LOL! I hear good things about the foundation. And good to know the sheets are worth the price! :)

I don't really care for the Velvet Skin Coat, but it's supped to be one of the top sellers!

  6. Your liking the Make Off Sheets? I just got those recently but I feel like they are too rough on my face. I want to try the Q10 Foundation! I just got their lipcream, I'm loving that right now.

I've actually bought DHC products in a couple other stores if your interested. I've seen DHC stuff at the Takashimaya in Rowland Heights and the Takashimaya in San Gabriel. Also the Cosmeland store in the Puente Hills Mall. I don't if any of those are closer for you.
