Review: Leaders Clinic Snail Collagen Filler Mask

Disclaimer: This product was provided to me for the purposes of review by Natural Radiance. I was not paid for this review and the review is my 100% honest opinion.

It is a special Rx which intensively manages skin which has been damaged by the external environment with a peeler clinic system containing elasticity building ingredients such as snail mucus components (mucin), marine collagen, and coenzyme Q10 which provides nutrients and elasticity to dry and non-elastic skin.

  • Improves elasticity and firmness of skin
  • Smooth and softens skin texture resulting in firmer and younger-looking skin
  • Keeps skin moisturized throughout

  1. After facial wash, apply “Mask Base Ampoule” evenly all over the face, gently wrap your face with hands to help absorption of the ampoule.
  2. Take the mask out of its packaging, unfold, and place the sheet on your face.
  3. Rest comfortably for 15-20minutes and remove the mask.
  4. Let your skin absorb the remaining essence by gently patting the skin.

Current price is $7.99 plus shipping.

snail collagen mask base ampoule

My Thoughts

I was very intrigued to try this mask since I know that snail essence is the latest amazing thing for skin in Korean skincare, and unless your skin is already perfect and flawless, who wouldn't want to rejuvenate your skin and achieve younger and healthier looking skin?

The base ampoule in Step 1 was not as fluid and liquid-y as other mask, but more like a watery jelly.  It took about 5 minutes to absorb with slight sticky feeling left.Step 2 - thin mask material that fits very well, but still textured material that leaves temporary imprint (I am greedy and like to wear my masks for as long as possible to absorb all the serum, muhahaha). After the second step, the mask leaves sticky feeling on skin so perhaps it may be best to use at night/before sleeping.

I don't recall the mask having an negative effects or unpleasant scent, but aside from leaving my skin feeling moisturized I don't think I noticed any major difference like brightening (which it doesn't claim on the mask but I've noticed other reviewers saying they did). I think this is the kind of mask that one needs to use more than once to really see improvement in skin. I honestly can't say that I was wowed with just one use, but I also have nothing bad to say about this mask. The material and fit were very nice so I do think it's a good-to-high quality mask but would like to see more noticeable results.

  1. I've been seeing a lot of reviews on this brand's mask and it seems to be pretty interesting! thanks for the reviews ^_^~

  2.  Ohh really? It was my first time with their 2-step mask. It seems like a popular brand but a little too pricey for my taste...I mean, we are supposed to use it like 2x a month, right? that's like $64! o_O. I am curious as to the results after one month though, lol.

  3. I have a snail two step mask too! Yet to use it, I rotate my masks but I haven't reached its turn yet.. why?! It's not that I have lots of different masks to use.

No hurry with the package, take your time!!! And thanks again D <3 <3 <3
