Apparently I'm either slow or liked...or both!
I've been tagged by DustBunny! Thanks sweetie!
What’s your favorite eye shadow color to wear?
Green...but I've moved onto blue. Purple is also a fav smoky look for me.
What’s the one product you wouldn’t leave your house without?
A small 2 oz. bottle of Hempz moisturizer...my hands get dry after washing them and in general I just like to keep my skin moisturized at all times.
What’s your favorite makeup look – high drama OR natural?
High drama...anyone can do a natural look any day but high drama requires extra care and special attention and is usually done for a unique and memorable moment.
Which feature do you play up the most?
Eyes...I like people to look me in the eyes and be drawn in to me, muhahaha.
Which feature do you try to downplay/cover up?
For cameras/pictures I like to downplay shiny glare especially on my forehead and nose...otherwise definitely any scars or blemishes and dark undereye circles.
Your favorite makeup brand, if you could pick only ONE to exist?
I am head-over-heels in love with NARS...but if there could only be one, it'd have to be MAC since it costs less (so you can get more!) and I have many fond memories in which I was wearing MAC.
Which product have you re-purchased OVER and OVER again?
MAC Lipglasses...I don't care how sticky they are, how it sucks when it's windy and my hair flies and sticks to my lips, or a lover complains (he'll accept my kisses regardless)...they are the prettiest to me and last long.
Which product would you NEVER repurchase again and why?
Rimmel...I've tried some of their eyeliners and mascaras and they did nothing for me.
One beauty treatment you would always PAY to have done?
This is a hard one as I don't think there's any...do haircuts count? lol
One beauty treatment you would NEVER pay to have done?
eye dee kay =)
One beauty trick you can share with everyone:
Keep a small hair clip (like a butterfly/claw clip) in the shower to use when you condition your hair - apply conditioner in your hair and then clip it up to let the conditioner do its thing for a few minutes while you finish the rest of your shower routine, and then rinse out. It gives the conditioner more time to work its magic and condition and hydrate your hair, like a mask, so that your hair will be nice and soft and healthy. =)
Best advice you've ever been given regarding beauty and makeup?
The one I just gave, duh! jk I'd say using eyeshadow primer. Before I knew about that, it was so frustrating to use eyeshadow and not see the color show up well on my eyelids, or if I packed it on for a night out it'd fall off and I'd have panda eyes, thus making me look even more like a horribly drunk girl! =P
I'm tagging back Iyah, WuzzyAngel, Yasumi, Melissa, Yumeko, Songling, Amanda, Kon and anyone else who wants to do this but hasn't been tagged yet.
In other news...everyone reading this, you MUST go to Bath & Body Works!! They have new scents and some sales that you just MUST take advantage of.
I mentioned in my last post that I am in love with the new SLEEP Black Chamomile in the B&BW Aromatherapy line...goooooo smell it! The current sale is 2 for $20 Select Aromatherapy . Last week it was only the lotion and body wash on sale so I'd gotten two bottles of the lotion plus the pillow mist for FREE with a coupon I had (and they gave me another coupon to use in March for a free signature item). Just doooooo it....go, smell, fall in love!! I'm telling you...you will cuddle yourself to sleep! haha
Another great new scent is "Dancing Waters" - very clean but kind of sexy! B&BW body butters are on sale for $7 (regular price $15) so I got two in "Dancing Waters" (and they gave me another free item coupon for March). What are you waiting for? At least just go and smell!!
Happy weekend, everyone!!
