Play Time in Tokyo
Hiyee everyone!! I've decided I have so much to post from my trip and since NicNic posted recently about our meet up, I shall start from the end to the beginning! (Her sense of time makes more sense than mine, but just enjoy it anyway, will you?)
Me in my hotel room, feeling all refreshed and ready to go out and about! Yes, my hair got very long since I'd wanted to cut it but a friend told me to get it done for cheap in Korea and I did not find any convenient hair salons where I felt comfortable enough to take the risk (not all salons are cheap, some are expensive, and not all speak English obviously and I am rather picky about my bangs).

Breathe
Hi everyone...wow, can you believe my last post was in March? Honestly, time flies!
I wasn't really planning on doing this but Kay told me I had to! =)
I don't want to give you some excuse like "I've been busy," but I have. More than that, I'd decided I had a lot of changes and improvements I wanted to make in my life, and that I wasn't anywhere near where I wanted to be...and that time was passing me by, so I had to focus, re-prioritize, and achieve the goals I set for myself but seemed so behind on. And even before that, I had already fallen behind on blogging (I have lots of pictures to be edited and half-written blog post drafts of reviews and new loves and purchases, etc.). It just didn't seem fair that I wasn't able to give my all to any of the many things I wanted to, including blogging.

Canmake Face
I feel I haven't shown my face in a while on my blog...it's because, I have no face. =X Kidding, kidding. It's been difficult for me to catch good natural lighting during the day, especially since it's been rainy on weekends for a while. Anyway, I wanted to show how the Canmake eyeshadow palette and lip gloss I'd recently received from Kay during our Secret Valentine exchange, as well as the DHC Q10 Cream Foundation, look on me.

VOV in the Housssse!!
You like my cheesy post titles, I know. =P Guess what? I've implemented a VOV Daily Fresh mini pack schedule for myself! haha I know I have issues, because even though I have a lot of masks right now, I still want more!! But I've decided to exercise some self control and these Daily Fresh packs should hold me over the next 7 or so weeks. I'll keep track of my thoughts on each kind (I have 7 of the 9 types) and post once I've tried them all. =)
I went to the VOV website to see if I could find info on the mini packs, no luck since I can't read Korean and can't use a web translator for the site (damn Flash and images-instead-of-text word descriptions), but I saw a new Castledew eye shadow palette that caught my eye!

My Favorite Current Look Video and Another Tag!
I've been wanting to do a video of this look for a few weeks now but had all those other videos to post first. Then guess what? My wifey M did a similar video last week! And she also used my current go to eye shadow shade MAC Honey Lust!
Well of course mine is a bit different than hers since I use some different products, not to mention I'm more tanned than she is! So while she used a light pink blush and pink beige lipstick, I choose peachy tones.
I don't wear this exact same look all the time, usually with some variations for cheeks and lips but the EOTD are pretty much usually the same.

WWBW...What Would Blair Wear?! My Gossip Girl Look
I'm sure you all know by now about Mona's fabulous contest, so this is my entry! (Deadline is Sunday night/Monday morning so enter if you haven't already!)
I choose Blair, aka the Classic Prep, because I love her style and makeup even though I think I dress more like Serena (Blairena? Blaireniana?). Would Blair really wear what I'm wearing? Prob not! But here's my look anyways.

Starting the new year off with a new makeup love is just lovely, isn't it? This past weekend I had the chance to try the Visee Jewel Crush Eyes palette in E-5 that I'd gotten in my swap with Yume-chan.
I never used a review format before but I'm going to try, starting now!

Poupee Girl and More...

Yume-chan posted not too long ago about Poupee Girl, a Japanese website where you create a character and earn ribbons to buy her fashion and beauty accessories by dressing her up daily, uploading your own photos of your fashion-beauty-related goodies and leaving comments for others. While it's a Lost-in-Translation adventure navigating around the site since most of it is in Japanese (what are the shells for, Yume-chan?), some of it is in English and I'm sure you'll be able to figure out most of it! If you want an invite (done through e-mail), just comment me with your e-mail because we'd each earn 30 ribbons when you sign up through a friend's e-mail invitation.

This is my third look for Yume-chan's contest, "Thou Shall Not Be The Same Girl Twice" where the challenge is to create five looks with only five pieces of makeup (palette = one piece). I'm still using the same makeup from Part I.

Lolita Diana
I felt like a doll in these Gothic Lolita inspired pictures, and it was a lot of fun as I'll prob never be able to wear that look elsewhere. =)

Green With Envy
Sooo...earlier this week I bought the Kate eyeshadow palette in green, thanks to Alyssa's blog (which did it more justice than I'm about to)...and here are the results!
It's the sad-girl-looking down look...

Think Pink!!
"Ahh...here it is, here is our answer: PINK!"
I'm actually watching "Funny Face" right now.
Anyway, I came across this blog and loved the idea of WuzzyAngel's first contest "Pink Eye," in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness month...so don't laugh, because the camera whore in me felt compelled to toss my hat into the ring and enter!
