Hi everyone! I have missed you all so much! Where did the last three weeks go?! They just flew by, without leaving me a moment to blog. Aside from my makeup artistry class, I also started a new side job which has been taking up most of my free time. I'm really sorry I just disappeared but I simply didn't have the time. Please forgive me? I will try to make time for blogging. *fingers crossed*
Moving on...as you may already know, SkinFood is one of the most popular affordable skin care brands in Korea. Aside from being very affordable (as in drugstore prices; each item below cost less than $20 USD), they have really cute packaging for all their many skin care lines, the most popular of which is probably the Peach Sake line. I have tried some of their products, which have varied between hit-or-miss for me, but I just couldn't resist the attractive pricing and packaging while I was in Korea.
Without further ado, I present to you my SkinFood haul!

Review: SkinFood Facial Water Vita-B and Vita-C Series
After finishing my Innisfree Green Tea face cream, I switched to this SkinFood Facial Water Vita-C Face Cream that I had used before and wanted to finish before trying a new moisturizer. Since I hadn't reviewed it before, or the Vita-B Face Cream, I thought I'd combine them into one blog post.

Myeongdong, Korean Beauty Shopping Mecca
Myeongdong 명동 is a must if you want to shop, especially for Korean skin care and cosmetics! I loved it so much, I went there several times during my trip, kekeke (and I still didn't get to go into every store!).
It is very touristy so there's usually a sea of people. The only time I saw it clearing out was at 10pm, closing time. Its being such a popular tourist destination means you will see and hear a lot of foreigners and in some shops (but not all) the sales assistants speak English, Japanese, and Chinese. (Truthfully I'd only encountered two who spoke fluent English; a sales girl in Nature Republic and in Etude House.) Koreans spoke to me in everything...I found it a bit interesting that they had no clue what ethnicity I am. In my mind, I'd thought Asians could distinguish other Asians, especially if they live in Asia, but apparently that wasn't the case, at least in my experience. They seemed to just randomly guess any Asian ethnicity including Thai, Japanese, Filipino and Chinese. (I was very surprised when one asked me if I was Vietnamese!)
Anyways, on with the pics!
I liked to enter from the Myeongdong exit on the subway near Migliore, a Korean department store.
Kpop idols are much loved in Seoul and you can find their ads and endorsements plastered everywhere and anywhere, but I'll have to do a separate post on that. Here's a huge 4minute endorsement for Shoemarker. (I like 4minute a lot, by the way; that is I like listening to their songs but don't know who's who aside from Hyuna.)

My Secret Valentine Goodies from Etude House and SkinFood
Happy belated Valentine's!
I know, so very, very late! Things have been a bit hectic on my end but I have lots of upcoming posts, I promise!
This year instead of hosting a Secret Valentine gift exchange like last year and the year before, I participated in Sheila's instead, and guess who turned out to be my Secret Valentine? None other than hostess herself!
I actually didn't know until Valentine's Day, when she told me herself on Twitter. She had sent me two packages and unfortunately the one directly from her got lost somewhere along the way. I think someone lonely just wanted to steal my Secret Valentine, haha.
The package I did receive came from Korea (ebay seller: ZinoPark, ebay store: D.I.O mall)! I'd been curious to try these products from Korean brands Etude House and SkinFood.

Valentine Survival...With Love
Happy belated Valentine's Day!! Hope your day was either special, fun, sweet, bearable, or no worse than ordinary, haha. At the least, I hope no one made you cry or broke your heart. Or made you feel bleh. Otherwise...I've got the quick cure for your lovesick blues! ;)

Inglot Goodies
So I kind of rushed over Inglot Cosmetics in my previous post...I meant to say that they only have a few flagship stores in the US (5 to be exact), although you can order online I believe as well as catch them at trade shows. However, I highly recommend checking them out in person if you can. Why? Keep reading, kekekeke.

Sunday Fun Day and Inglot Cosmetics
Rainy Sunday this week but last Sunday was such a beautiful day, I had to take advantage of it and go with the flow. I met up with a friend at The Camp in Costa Mesa for lunch at Native Foods, a vegan cafe (yup, my vegetarian days are going so well I'm actually doing twice a week now).

I did a Secret Valentines exchange with the help of Kay, much like her Secret Santa because it was so much fun and such a great way to spread blogger love!! ♥ In fact, the girls are mostly from her gift exchange. Thank you to all of the following ladies who participated!
And surprise, surprise....guess who my Secret Valentine turned out to be?!

Lush Twitter Mini Raffle Prize
Kind of old (really old), but Lush on Twitter was doing mini raffle giveaways last month and I won! (I was one of many lucky people to win since they did lots of mini giveaways.) Coming home to this in the mail box really made me smile.

Review: DHC Q10 Travel/Trial Set
Since I'd finished using the Boscia set and the season and weather changed from warmer summer to drier fall and winter, I'd moved on to the DHC Q10 Travel Set. I was fortunate to receive this from Kay, but you can also find it on the U.S. website. I finished this set just as 2009 came to an end.

Review: VOV Daily Fresh Mini Pack Wash Off Packs (Part 2)
As promised, here is part 2 of my VOV Daily Fresh Mini Packs Wash Off Masks review (*whew* what a mouthful). From the website, it seems I've actually tried 7 of the 9 types! The only two I haven't tried are the Green Tea and Charcoal.

Review: VOV Daily Fresh Mini Pack Wash Off Packs (Part 1)
I've totally been MIA and will be pretty busy for the next month, so I'm sorry I haven't been around leaving comments but I do lurk around your blogs using my iPhone (another reason why I don't comment, I like to comment from my computer)!
Previously my dad was able to get me some VOV Daily Fresh packs when he was in Vietnam. Apparently it was no easy feat as he was in the big and crowded city (Ho Chi Minh if you're new school, Saigon if you're old school) and it was raining and the streets were flooded. He could only find these 7, which is fine with me 'cause it made for a nice trial period!

VOV in the Housssse!!
You like my cheesy post titles, I know. =P Guess what? I've implemented a VOV Daily Fresh mini pack schedule for myself! haha I know I have issues, because even though I have a lot of masks right now, I still want more!! But I've decided to exercise some self control and these Daily Fresh packs should hold me over the next 7 or so weeks. I'll keep track of my thoughts on each kind (I have 7 of the 9 types) and post once I've tried them all. =)
I went to the VOV website to see if I could find info on the mini packs, no luck since I can't read Korean and can't use a web translator for the site (damn Flash and images-instead-of-text word descriptions), but I saw a new Castledew eye shadow palette that caught my eye!

Random Buys
I've realized that I give my face a lot of love and care and have been somewhat neglecting the skin on my body, so I decided to go by the Lush store in Anaheim at the Garden Walk for a little body skincare treat. =)

Birthday Love From Mayaari!!
Hi everyone! I'm two weeks behind but this week I will attempt to post all the birthday love I received from such sweet, thoughtful and generous blogger beauties!!
I apologize that I didn't have time to make videos or do BlogTV, but each surprise in the mailbox just made me so giddy I had to open and savor the sweetness of each love-filled package!
As you know, it was my birthday two weeks ago and I got this sweet surprise in the mail the very day before! I was a good girl and didn't open it until my actual birthday, which I'm glad because it was filled with so much love it almost made me want to cry!!
This particular birthday love package came from Mayaari, aka East Coast Diana aka Right Boobie, my bosom buddy, hehe, a birthday angel who makes wishes come true!!

Late Last Weekend Update
Sorry so late! I'm such a White Rabbit, always running late! This is going to be a really long post to make up for my lateness (i.e., very picture heavy!).
First things first, I dyed my hair again! Yeah...what's new...well it was supposed to be "dark ash brown" but it came out black!
My makeup is the same as the last blog post, so you can see how the dark ash shade really minimalizes the redness in my skin tone and cools down my face.

Small Sephora Haul and Teal Blue EOTD
So hella weeks ago was the Sephora 15% off sale for beauty insiders, and Iyah reminded me that if I shopped through the website via ebates (don't have ebates? ask me for an invite! haha comment with your e-mail address) that I'd save more with their cash back! And since it was before Mother's Day, ebates raised the Sephora.com cash back from 4% to 8%, so it's like I saved 23%, woot woot!
I didn't haul a lot though, this is what I got...
