2010 Beauty Favorites

I know we're nearing the end of January but I still wanted to do this. =) In my post for last year's favorites, I said I'd "focus more on skincare products and less on makeup," and I'm happy to say I did. As such, I don't have a lot of new makeup favs, but here are some products that I loved using and relied on in 2010.

H2O Plus Urban Defense Green Tea Cleansing Milk
I love this! I have Iyah to thank for introducing me to it when she let all us girls try it at our HK sleepover. Immediately after using it, my face feels so soft and also looks brighter!

2009 Beauty Favorites

Happy New Year!!

An entire calendar year of blogging has introduced to me to wayyyyyyyy more beauty products than I would have tried or lusted for otherwise! But rather than haul every so-called amazing product out there, I have to admit I'm rather choosy about what I get, and spend a lot of time (too much time), lusting and debating before I even get something! (Impulse shopper I am not!) So here's my list of the favorite products I've encountered in 2009.

SKINCARE

Boscia Oil-Free Daily Hydration SPF 15
Great moisturizer for spring and summer if you have oily-to-combination skin! It moisturizes without causing your skin to become oily.

Boscia Balancing Tonic
I love this so much that I just bought a full size bottle after using quite a few different toners this year! It's refreshing and smells nice.

Be Dazzling Benefit Cosmetics Holiday Contest on Polyvore

After I saw Mona's dazzling set, I just had to jump onto Polyvore and try playing with it myself. Here's my set for the Benefit Cosmetics Polyvore contest.

Birthday Love From Mayaari!!

Hi everyone! I'm two weeks behind but this week I will attempt to post all the birthday love I received from such sweet, thoughtful and generous blogger beauties!!

I apologize that I didn't have time to make videos or do BlogTV, but each surprise in the mailbox just made me so giddy I had to open and savor the sweetness of each love-filled package!

As you know, it was my birthday two weeks ago and I got this sweet surprise in the mail the very day before! I was a good girl and didn't open it until my actual birthday, which I'm glad because it was filled with so much love it almost made me want to cry!!

This particular birthday love package came from Mayaari, aka East Coast Diana aka Right Boobie, my bosom buddy, hehe, a birthday angel who makes wishes come true!!

I got an incredibly generous package from the sweet and thoughtful Kay, it totally made my day! But I'll dedicate a post to it once I have pics ready. For now, if you're really curious, just watch the video on my YouTube or else be patient!

Here are some pics of me wearing Benefit's Creaseless Cream Shadow in Samba-dy Loves Me. Samba-dy Loves Me is a great shade! I was in a rush so for my eye makeup I only used that along with my MUFE Aqua Eyes in Pearly Brown 2L and of course curled my lashes and added mascara.

Why Am I So Vain...

I hope everyone had a nice long weekend in the States and is now enjoying the shorter week because of it! I went shopping with one of my high school best friends, she was visiting and I hadn't seen her in almost 8 years! We went to the *new* Forever21 that used to be a Mervyn's at the mall. It's big! I was hoping to find some dresses but all the Smalls were a bit loose on me. =(

So...I went to a different mall and still didn't find anything! I came across this short sleeve jacket and camera whored in the fitting room...such a vain girl!! But that's how I do, ahahaha.
