Review: VOV Daily Fresh Mini Pack Wash Off Packs (Part 2)

As promised, here is part 2 of my VOV Daily Fresh Mini Packs Wash Off Masks review (*whew* what a mouthful). From the website, it seems I've actually tried 7 of the 9 types! The only two I haven't tried are the Green Tea and Charcoal.


Part 1 covered the gel types, which are for whitening, suppleness, moisture, etc. Part 2 includes creamy exfoliating types and peeling gels. Actually, they are not exactly exfoliators but they work like exfoliators in that they make your skin feel more smooth, soft, and remove impurities.

17 Cereals

how to use it

2. Wait for 15-20 minutes
3. Rinse off with lukewarm water.

I like this one! My face felt so soft when I rinsed it. The next morning, it also felt firmer, but still somewhat soft. But...I did experience a bit of a tingling sensation a little after I applied the pack, sort of a mild burning sensation, it's like feeling the particles penetrate your skin. Don't worry, it only lasted a few seconds (less than 10). I think the trick is to not put on too much in any area. I got 3 uses out of one pack.

Multi Vita Egg Peel Off Pack

Used it, it's pretty standard for a peel off pack, just happens to be in mini form. Didn't smell like glue, which is a plus to me. It didn't seem too drying or harsh either. I put on quite a bit so I didn't have trouble peeling it off. It was good for two uses. Personally, I would rather use a peel off mask from a tube, it's just a bit easier and less messy, but I guess this would be good if you were traveling somewhere.

Apple AHA Peeling Gel

VOV Daily Fresh Mini Pack Apple AHA Peeling Gel effectively whitens and tightens skin, and removes dead skin cell as well. The skin is left translucent and silky smooth with a healthy vivid glow!

how to use it

suitable for
all skin type / combination skin

It's white and similar to Laneige Strawberry Peeling Gel, but you leave it on your face instead of rubbing it on your skin. It does what it says, effectively exfoliated and my skin looks whiter after use. For a vivid glow though, I'd recommend Purity Seaweed over this one.

Volcanic Powder

Hmm it's hard to say how I feel about this one. It gave that tingly sensation of the mineral particles penetrating into my skin. Then it sort of absorbed into my skin as it dried before I washed it off. It's similar to 17 Cereals in that it is creamy and white. However I think I felt more of a noticeable difference after use with the 17 Cereals. I should have used them right after one another, but both are good! Oh, and this one seemed to have the most in it, I used it four times and still had a little extra for a forth time.

Overall, the ones I like most and will probably purchase more of are Purity Seaweed, 17 Cereals, and Volcanic Powder!! Hope that was helpful to anyone who's interested in these masks.
