I got an email tonight that I won the My Pretty Pink Box October Contest! My prize is the mark's South Beach Flip For It fall color kit (a $20 value)!
"Inspired by trend-setting cities across the globe, South Beach features matte midnight and shimmery taupe shades for eyes and a soft peach shade for cheeks. Flip the palette around for four lip tints, ranging from matte desert rose to shimmery peachy-pink."
How fun does that look? I can't wait to try it out!
Also, this month's Pretty Pink Boxes go on sale this Thursday, November 13th! Last month's boxes sold out in just six days, so if you don't want to miss out, get yours asap. I believe there will be another contest, so who knows, you might be the next lucky gal to win...like me!
Curious to see who'll be participating in this month's box? Just visit MyPrettyPinkBox.com. =)
On another note, I skipped out on the Sephora F&F Sale (or more truthfully, I told myself I wouldn't get anything, then was busy all day and tried to order at 11:55 p.m. but the code expired when I entered it at 12:03 a.m.). Since I received the MAC gift card, I know I'll be picking up more makeup there, so no need for NARS or Smashbox (although I'm still curious to try), and I can always get Philosophy bath stuff whenever I'm at the store.
However, I am really curious about the FRESH line, partly because I saw my roommate buy and stock our shared bathroom with six of their skin and bath products. Believe it or not, I actually love the simplicity of their packaging, and their products just sound...delicious. (Sugar? Hello, I have a sweet tooth...and Rice Sake bath? omg will I want to drink that? hehe)
"Mixing ancient beauty rituals with modern technology, Fresh offers one-of-a-kind products that perform and pamper. They splurge on everything, and skimp on nothing, to create a collection of high quality—and highly effective—makeup, skin, hair, bath and body products, as well as extraordinary fragrances. Be it a brown sugar body scrub, a milk-infused face cream, a soda-loaded shampoo, or a sake-spiked candle, this brand is full of Fresh ideas." -Sephora.comAll of the customer reviews for the products I drooled over – err looked at– raved that they're well worth the price (expensive) and averaged 4 to 4-and-a-half stars. Sooooo if I do get any, you'll be sure to hear a review on it from me! And if you've ever tried any, I'd love to hear your comments.
P.S. My Victoria's Secret bras and panty arrived today! Very rawr...and for less than $20. I also started my Christmas shopping already...yes, I'm one of those people who starts thinking about Christmas before Halloween, and I usually have my shopping done by Thanksgiving. As much as I love being spoiled, I also love giving! Annnnnnnnd I'm hoping I'll have enough ca-ah-ash (sorry, it's Kanye's influence on me, I meant, cash) left over so I can have a contest of my own with some very cool prizes...stay tuned! ;)
