It's been a while since I've done just a random update, hasn't it? Do you think my blog is boring now?! Wahhh tell the truth. =X
Well spring is just around the corner and for me, I always think of new beginnings. Also guess what? I'll be visiting Seoul and Tokyo next month! Chyeahhhh baby! I've been wanting to go to Korea and Japan for what feels like forever now, but have always had to put it off. This time, I'm just going to do it, like the big (reckless) dreamer that I am.
Today is also the one-year anniversary of the Japan earthquake and tsunami. I am lucky that none of my friends and their families in Japan were harmed at the time, though so many others were not as fortunate.
I remember my friends and I were able to donate through
Tabento?, a sushi restaurant which offered free sushi for donations (so instead of paying for our meal, the money we put it was donated to the Japan earthquake relief funds).

Now for the beauty related stuff. I made quite a few drugstore purchases last month that I really need to post about. To be honest, I haven't even used everything yet, eek! Obviously, I am banned from making anymore drugstore purchases, hehe.

Revlon lip butters, L'Oreal Infallible eye shadows and Maybelline Tattoo eye shadows |
I also received some Korean face masks from
Natural Radiance to review, so I will do my best to post those this month (I've posted one so far). Also I will have a giveaway soon sponsored by
Natural Radiance, for those who are interested in trying Korean sheet masks.
By the way, I have been so busy that I haven't been shopping much lately and now I'm in need of a new facial cleanser and night-time moisturizer, aahhh! I wonder if I should just buy something soon or if I should wait until Seoul & Tokyo. Also I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a surprise giveaway, that is you would participate without knowing what you'd be winning (except that it'd be beauty-related and from Korea or Japan).
What do you think?
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and will have a great start to the week! =)
THE FOOD *____* nom nom... i want sushi now XD
ReplyDeleteWoo, can't wait to see some reviews on those masks ^^
I think a surprise giveaway is a great idea, just because it makes things a lot more exciting, and people don't follow/join your blog just because they see expensive goods or something~ :) I fully support the idea of a surprise giveaway ^^
wow that sushi looks so freaking amazing! and eating for a good cause is even better ^_^ great haul! i am loving those Lip Butters!
ReplyDeleteThe food looks delicious and that's so nice of them to offer the money to the Japanese tsunami tragedy! I'm so jealous you're going to Korean & Japan... hehe~ I cannot wait to see pictures of what you get and what you do there. :)
ReplyDeleteYou work with papers? For some reason, I did not see that. :X I thought it was all computers... hehe~
Thank you for commenting about my background! I really appreciate it and I adjusted the width as you suggested. You think it looks better?
the food look amazing.. I'm pretty sure you don't need to leave the country for some good BBQ and sushi judging from those pics haha
