Yesterday this Japanese + beauty product-crazed gal dedicated her time to doing serious damage at Marukai, Ohayo USA and Nijiya.
I started off with lunch at Sushi Boy inside Marukai, enjoyed a Rainbow Roll and Washington Roll...washed down with candy-flavored apple juice....mmm.

Once I was energized with sushi, it didn't take too long for my shopping cart soon to look like this:

I love Japanese women's magazines. I love seeing beautiful Asian faces, as well as what's in style in trend-setting Japan. I get inspired by their hairstyles and hair colors, as well as their makeup looks and wardrobe. I had my eye on six magazines but restrained myself to only three. (Only three, haha.) One of the fun things about Japanese women's magazines is that they often come with extra goodies, like booklets or even bags!

And thennnnnnnnn...what I really had my heart set on was this beautiful Kate eyeshadow palette, after seeing how gorgeous it looked on Alyssa. I was lucky to snatch up the last one at Ohayo!

And I had to get the Softymo White Cleansing Water (toner) and MANDOM Cleansing Express Cleansing Lotion Moist...which I used last night and thought it was pretty fricking great! It really gets you "ready for bed as soon as possible" — a few swipes with a cotton pad removed my waxy Lancome Virtuose mascara quicker than Neutrogena's Eye Makeup Remover.

I'd been eying these Naive by Kracie products for a while, so I finally purchased the facial foaming wash as well as body wash and body wash refill in Green Tea (anything with green tea or green tea scented and I'm sold). BTW, I love that Japanese body washes, shampoos and conditioners come in refill bags! Ingenious...American companies should do that too, save on packaging costs and resources.

These were a total splurge, but after reading a friend's rave review, I had to try the K-Palette 1-Day Tattoo Real Lasting Eyeliner myself. Also, I 'm always interested in mascara which promises dramatic curl, thanks to my stubborn straight Asian eyelashes, so I can't wait to try this Dramatic Parfums Dramatic Volume Volume & Curl mascara.

This is the Sana Pore Putty Make Up Base, which I read is a good dup of Urban Decay Primer Potion. I actually paid more for my Sana (haha) but I like that it has more efficient packaging compared to UDPP and will probably last me forever as an eye primer. I also wanted to try the Naris Eggshell + Carbon peel, but couldn't find any and bought the NARIS UP Natural Facial Pack (Natural Silk Powder + Hyaluronate), which is a skin moisturizing mask, instead. The girls at Ohayo also gave me lots of free samples!

Some cute accessories...one's for keeping bangs out of my face (without messing up my bangs for the rest of the day/night) and the other is a mascara guard (no more little black dots on my eyelids).

Annnnnd look at this! New Pocky flavor, blueberry! Can't wait to try...it even just looks pretty. Also my fav, strawberry Pocky. Sadly, there weren't any Tahiti Vanilla Pocky, which is very yum.

And can't forget about my fav gummy candy, so soft and yummy...strawberry, grape, and melon flavors. The grape and melon ones are heart-shaped...too bad the strawberry ones aren't.

I know it seems like a lot, but honestly I only go to Japanese stores once in a while, so I wanted to make the most of it rather than heckle online for good deals and then pay ridiculous $$$ for shipping.
After all that damage, I had another Japanese meal at Curry House. So delicious...especially the edamame and potato croquette!

And now...I see My Pretty Pink Box has arrived!! Time to open, blog and review.
